Railsconf is the premiere Ruby on Rails conference in the world, with more than 1200 industry professionals in attendance each year. Ruby Central approached us to design their 2015 conference, but that ended up being just the start of a multi-year partnership. We worked with 13 vendors and executed everything from early branding concepts, to the final design deliverables of more than 60 pieces of art & design.

Our Approach
As longtime attendees of Railsconf and other Ruby Central events, this project hit close to home for all of us at Littlelines, and we knew we needed to hit it out of the ballpark. With Atlanta being the host city, we discussed different ways we could incorporate noticeable features into the brand strategy. Consistent communication with the Railsconf team produced stellar designs, and won Littlelines the chance to be the designer again for Railsconf 2016.
Something to talk about.
When it came to the t-shirt design, Railsconf asked us to do something memorable. What started off as a crazy idea ended up being a focal point for the conference. Utilizing glow in the dark ink, the conference-goers received a surprise as the illustration's Atlanta skyline lit up when they dimmed the lights.
"We really enjoyed working with Littlelines as well as the design that we ended up with. I think it was our best RailsConf design yet!"
